Preface: CTS Productions, the company behind Radio Serena, is considering rolling out additional station-like radio shows and brands to better market our products, and we would like your opinion on the following.
8A. One such idea in the works (and one very likely to be rolled out) is a format that plays a wide variety of music with no consideration to genre or style of music whatsoever – in a sense, lacking any musical focus, and bringing together a giant melting pot of music. Would you listen to and interact with such a brand if it were broadcast?
8B. A second format under development currently is a high energy dance format of upbeat music focusing on music from the 50s to the 90s. This would mainly be a feel good type format with many great long forgotten hits from the past. Would you listen and interact with such a brand if it were broadcast?
8C. A third brand under consideration would be a singer/songwriter focused AAA formatted brand that would also include a wide variety of eclectic music (such as Jazz and blues) with a coffee house type presentation. Would you listen to and interact with such a brand if it were broadcast?
8D. If Radio Serena were to air demos of these brands, would you be willing to give them a listen, and let us know what you think?

Status Update 2-25-19

Dear Affiliates and Listeners:
I am pleased to announce that our computer is mostly up and running,
and that CTS Productions has resumed limited production of shows.
It seems that most of our programs could be restored -- except for the
flash drive that stored most of the CTS Productions content offline.
While I do hope to someday have that fixed and retrieved as well, it
will take much financial doing, as it will take $2,000 to restore.  We
do have most of our Radio Serena files and CD imprints that were on
our computers' harddrive, and that is what we are using.  I plan to
build our imaging and music libraries back up to where they were
before that crash.
There is a fully produced Radio Serena this week, as most everything
has been restored.
As for Clearing The Static and 2 Girls 1 Name, those are different
animals.  Skype will take much longer to try to configure and

Status Update

Dear Listeners and Affiliates:

Jake Longwell here with a status update. Thanks to Bob Cavanaugh, Clearing the Static has resumed production with new shows. He (and possible others) will fill in as guest hosts until Serena is able to resume her regular hosting duties. Speaking of which, her computer is still out of commission, and in the shop. Techs are hopeful that they can restore it back to health, but there are no guarantees at this point in time. Radio Serena is still on indefinite hiatus as a result. That is the latest from here. Please check this site for further developments. Thanks, as always, for your patience and understanding.

Important Message Regarding Clearing the Static and Radio Serena

Dear Affiliates and Listeners:

This is Jason "Jake" Longwell. I am posting this to the CTS website on behalf of Serena (AKA The Radio Kid), as we wanted to let you all know what's going on.

Unfortunately, Serena's computer crashed last week while she was attempting to put Radio Serena together. This appears to be a hard disk issue. The computer will not boot back up at all, and she has been told by a few people that she may need to buy a whole new computer. For those of you who don't know, both Serena and I are visually impaired, and are on fixed disability incomes. We do our radio shows as a labor of love, and we are responsible for all our operating expenses. Right now, she doesn't have the money to buy a new PC. But, she is hoping to find someone who can repair/restore the hard drive so she can retrieve all of the files that were/are on it, and hopefully resume radio program production.

Radio Affiliates: For the time being, Serena is asking you to please run old episodes of Radio Serena and/or Clearing the Static, depending on which program your station is airing. She is hopeful that this hiatus will not be a long one, and that new shows will resume as soon as possible. She is asking for your patience and understanding. Needless to say, this was something that was not foreseen.

As her computer is down, Serena is not able to receive or respond to emails, either. So, if you need to get in touch with her, please contact me directly, and I will pass along any messages. Or, email me and ask me for her home phone, and I will give it to you in a private email response.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused to you and your radio station. We both thank you for your understanding and continued support. Any further updates on this situation will be posted here.
