It's a surprisingly busy week in radio, but we manage to get through everything just in time.
First, an iHeart initiative launched in 2012 has come to an end with the flip of the last signal carrying the format.
Then, Emmis is just about done with station ownership as it sells its
last market. Now, there are just a couple licenses it holds.
Later, the Townsquare Cherry Creek deal was approved by the FCC this
week, and looks to be on track to close soon, as some major moves have
already taken place.
As always, there are a few other items we cover this week.
A weekly syndicated radio show about radio, and, occasionally, other broadcast media.
