 It's a surprisingly busy week in radio, but we manage to get through everything just in time.
First, an iHeart initiative launched in 2012 has come to an end with the flip of the last signal carrying the format.
Then, Emmis is just about done with station ownership as it sells its last market. Now, there are just a couple licenses it holds.
Later, the Townsquare Cherry Creek deal was approved by the FCC this week, and looks to be on track to close soon, as some major moves have already taken place.
As always, there are a few other items we cover this week.

On this addition of the program, should we make up a snarky name for iHeart Media? Bob points out that they are the only company you see massive cuts at year after year, and another round has hit this week. Speaking of that company, they've launched Kiss 107.9 in Sacramento, but it's not what we expected. In other news, several college stations in upstate New York have turned in their licenses, and WBUF is Active Rock again. All that and more this week.
