We open this week with some LPFM news. First, Syracuse finally has its own community radio station, but, will their hyper local approach to music programming help or hurt them? Also, an LPFM is soon to debut in Springfield, Illinois. All indications are that it will be some sort of community radio. We'll follow this story as it develops. Later, we discuss the impending CBS Radio/Entercom merger. We know what stations will be spun off as a result of the merger. Who will be buying these stations? What changes may be on the horizon once the stations are sold? We discuss and speculate.
