We now know what's on 98.7 in New York. Also, could a flip of a long running rock station to a news simulcast have been prompted by the demise of WCBS? Later, it's off to Florida where a new rock station has launched, and later Portland's Bella has a little sister in Seattle.

We actually have time to give WCBS a fair sendoff on this week's show, as we have some remaining time. Before that though, Salem continues to sell stations, one of which will result in a new sports, talk, and rock format. Also, a couple changes are taking place in Canada, as Chorus is shutting down an AM, and a new country station is coming to Toronto. That, plus some last minute changes in Austin, and much more on this week's program.

The Radio Kid is flying solo this week, and as she does, there's lots to talk about. We touch on some news from last week -- including the shutdown of CHML in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, but also the hope that may lie in a pair of stations there which are being relaunched by a new owner. Turing to this week's news: Both "Rock 92.9"'s in Boston, MA, and Raleigh, NC, are moving off their 92.9 spots on their respective dials. Cromwell is adding a third Sports brand in Nahsville, TN.
