Radio Serena Show 348
Radio Serena Show 347
On this show, Radio Serena is presenting a first of it's kind for the
show -- a documentary style program (we call it a musicmentary) taking a
look at how Country music evolved for a few years after the September

the genre for voicing an opposition opinion to the wars going on at the
time in Afghanistan and Iraq. What songs were driving the mood of

Clearing the Static 2338
It's actually a really busy week here at CTS.
Among the stories we're covering this week are the following:
The Calvery Chapel K-Wave programming is now heard in all of Los Angeles.
Curby Confer is doing some dealing on two fronts.
Could 95.1 Rochester be in for a flip before too long?
Do we have our first Christmas station of the season, or is this a stunt that is going to only last a couple weeks?
A new Bigfoot has been found in South Carolina.
All that, plus a major shakeup in Morgantown, and much more this week.
Clearing the Static 2337
It's another addition of CTS this week. Among the stories this week, could Emis have a buyer for WLIB? We don't know yet, but the recent sale of 93.5 may have an impact. Elsewhere, Hall of Fame Country is gone, and another 90s and 2K station leads to a discussion of morning shows. We also have a fairly innovative Variety Hits station, and much much more.
Clearing the Static 2336
It's a busy week on this addition of CTS, but we don't have much to say about much of it, so we get through almost all of it. One story we do go off on a bit of a tangent on is in Honolulu, where two AM stations are being donated for educational use. We also have a new interesting classic rocker in Texas, the death of a dance station in Albuquerque, and two eastern Washington stations signing off. Will one of them be sold? All that and more this week.
