It's an extremely quiet week here at CTS. So much so in fact that we have time to share an aircheck of 98.9 Seattle during its country format. Before we get there though, we have several Bob FM launches in Missouri and Kansas, and is Live 105.3 returning to San Francisco with Classic Alternative? After the aircheck, we thought we were going to share another one, but the discussion turns to AI instead.

This week, it's another update in the saga of the radio owner everyone loves to hate, and both of us think it'll be one of the last involving the fate of the stations involved, but not the last time said person's name is mentioned on the program. In other news, Memorial Day weekend appears to be dead as a doornail when it comes to format changes, with only a rebranding in Oklahoma City and a flip from Hot AC to rock in Ohio. That, plus some comments from radio owners about the future of AM radio, and a few other stories this week.

Later, Philadelphia turns out to be a disappointment, but Bob has a late realization that this is kind of similar to another station in a completely different market.
