It's a quiet week in the world of radio this week, so much so that we don't know what to do with the last 20 minutes of the program. What little news there is includes an update to a story Jake brought us from southern New York, a strange development out of Ohio where a two month old Gospel format has given way to Hot AC, and a confusing change along the Kansas Missouri border. Then, Bob has taken up skiing in the last couple weeks, which made him think of a radio spot he heard several years ago. All that and more is this week on CTS.

It's an extremely quiet week on this first regular show of 2022, so much so that at the end we let some of our secrets out. First though, we cover what news there is, including a station in Dayton quickly rebranding, two stations flipping formats after being sold recently, and what's up with 104.5 in Spokane.

Let me let you listeners in on a little secret. By the time we do the radio show, both of us already know what's going on, though Bob has forgotten about things on the air before. This time however, only Bob knows what has been happening since December 23. The result is a show like no other before, and won't happen again. We're doing things a little differently this week on CTS. The Radio Kid wants the weekend off, so Bob Cavanaugh flies solo and presents some airchecks.
