Clearing the Static 2611
It's a sale-heavy week this week, as we have two weeks worth of station sales to cover, plus Hall selling its Providence cluster. Also, what is to become of Portland's 860? That, plus the usual other news this week.

It's actually a jam-packed week at the program. Our top story this week is the bankruptcy of Cumulus. They have surrendered a few of the stations they took off the air a year ago, while two of them have returned to the air, and we go through the list of stations whose status is unknown at this point. Elsewhere, it's a heavy shutdown week, as several other stations have shut down, and in one case that has lead to a format shuffle. We do also have a couple of the usual format changes as well.

Our top story this week comes out of Buffalo, where BTPM is doing something innovative with 94.5. In other news, Omaha has gone from three sports stations to one, and we touch on some potential changes at Civic Media. Also, could Galaxy be no more soon? All that and more this week.

It's another show this week. The big news of the week is that the first of likely many changes have taken place in Fort Meyers after the closing of the sale of the Beasley stations there. Other changes include the extension of the WGR brand to Rochester, and two actions out of the FCC, one approving a sale in West Palm Beach, and the other regarding a noncommercial translator window. All that and more this week.
