It's an extremely quiet week this week on CTS. A station in Connecticut drops conservative talk, which leads to a discussion of why conservative talk in general seems to work a lot better than liberal talk. After the news, we have a lengthy discussion of the three 90s and 2K stations that have popped up recently.

The pace of change is going back to what has been typical of the industry as of late, which means not much is happening. As a result, we have to fill about six minutes at the end of the program, and we do so with a few observations of Bob's from his recent streaming of Seattle stations. Before we get there though, we do have some changes, including is Air1 permanently on 100.9 in Jackson MS? We're unsure, but it's more likely after what happened this week. Also, a new adult R&B station in Michigan, conservative talk out in a rather unlikely place, and more this week.

We again have a lot to cover this week.
First, we start by catching up on last week's developments. We start with news of not one, but two GCR outlets going away. Then, a Medford OR AM signs off, but its programming will continue. We also talk about three deaths in the industry that happened last week.
In this week's news, Townsquare has turned off three northeast AMs. Also, in what may be the saga of the year, the license of an Oregon coast FM is canceled by the FCC. A couple days after we find that out, we find that the company that owned that station and several others is in bankruptcy and is facing foreclosure. Bob is hopeful the 102.7 license will be restored, but anything could happen. In other news, a Calgary station has gone to simulcast of the news/talk station in that market.
